Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins Releases First Campaign Ad
Six-figure buy turns up the volume on JKT’s change message
June 12, 2026
Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins’ (JKT’s) campaign for Alaska Governor today announced that its first digital ad is live on Meta, YouTube, and streaming TV and radio platforms. The ad reservation, which will run in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, is the first major investment of the campaign’s significant financial resources into boosting JKT’s message.
“For the first time since we launched this campaign, we’re taking our message to voters via paid communication in order to share our vision and bring new energy and new ideas to Juneau, " said Kreiss-Tomkins. “We are excited to connect with every Alaskan, not only through grassroots outreach and in-person events, but also on social media, radio, TV, and mail. Alaskans agree our government needs a new direction — starting with supporting our schools, protecting our fisheries, and lowering everyday costs. Our campaign is built to win so we can deliver that change.”
The ads launched on the heels of endorsements from former Governor Tony Knowles and SEIU 775, the announcement of Zac Johnson as running mate for lieutenant governor, and clearing $1.5 million in contributions since the campaign began.
